Good #Wednesday morning, Mastodonians. I slept a bit better last night, even with my cold. I think part of it was that Dan lit a big fire in our wood stove, and it almost got to the point of being too hot before we let it die at bedtime. I'm glad my cold is mild, but any cold is annoying. We don't have anything we have to do today, so it will be another day to relax and rest. I hope it's a good day for everyone.

Good #Tuesday morning, Mastodonians. I didn't sleep too well last night. I started coming down with a cold a couple days ago, and while it's not super bad, my runny nose was enough to keep me awake last night. But I'll get some coffee in my system and I'll be good to go. I hope you all are having a good day.

Good #Sunday morning, Mastodonians. We had a nice time babysitting our granddaughter last night while her parents went to a movie. It got a bit rough at wind down time to get ready for sleep though. I tried to tell her she needed to help her stuffed animals go to sleep, so we had to be quiet and whisper. She seemed okay for a while, then started to cry. We thought she needed a diaper change, but it was fine. Dan took her in his arms and sat down in a rocker, and she was almost instantly asleep. We could tell by her breathing that her nose was stuffy, and she woke up a few times coughing and sneezing, so she was probably uncomfortable, and that probably accounted for the tears. Today should be a quiet stay-at-home day. I hope it's a good day for everyone.

Good #Saturday morning, Mastodonians. The day should be a quiet one for us, but not the evening. Our daughter and her husband are going out to celebrate Valentine's Day, and we get to babysit our granddaughter. It's always a bit scary watching a toddler, lest something happen on our watch, but it's more fun than scary, and it's nice to be able to give them a break. It's so easy to forget what hard work parenting is when you haven't done it for years. I hope you all have a good day.

@Rickster1963 I hear you. I really liked my previous PC, but it wouldn't update to Windows 11, so I had to buy a new one. I really like my new laptop, and in this smaller house it's probably good that I'm not using my old desktop, but it's money I wouldn't have spent if Windows 10 had still been supported. I guess there's some kind of limited or temporary support for it, but it's not like Apple which still supports a lot of older phones and not just the latest model.

Good #Friday morning, Mastodonians. We're back to a totally free day, after a few busy ones, and it feels nice. We did go to our daughter's house yesterday, and it was fun to see the baby in her own baby-proofed environment, running around and having fun. We left Sweetie at home, and she was glad to see us when we got back, and took us for a brisk walk to get her excitement out of her system. Today is a rainy day, so we'll have to plan our walks, and enjoy being in a warm dry house when not walking. I hope you all have a good day.

Good #Thursday morning, Mastodonians. We may go to our daughter's house today, which will be fun, and would give her a break from having to drive all the way to our house and pack all the baby's supplies, though she and the little one go all over the place and do all kinds of activities, so they're traveling pros. Still, it is nice to change things up a bit. We'll see what happens. Other than that, we have no plans. I hope it's a good day for all of you.

Got the JAWS update done. I'll update the phone while I'm working out, and the watch once I'm done. We're thinking of trying out a nearby Japanese place for lunch, since today is our anniversary, and we need to find Japanese and Indian restaurants that we like so we can go there with our daughter and granddaughter sometimes, and with our son-in-law also, though he's working and going to school and doesn't have a whole lot of time.

We're back from my appointment, and I'm sucking down coffee like a crazy woman.
