Time for some self inflicted wounds, what a nice #sundaySince I can get the house network to work with #opnsense correctly I will be burning my #homelab tomorrow, quit my #it job and hope my #wife, that I love from the depths of my heart will be happy.

Good #Sunday morning, Mastodonians. Yesterday was really fun, though different than we thought. Our daughter called to say our son-in-law and his brother decided to come home that day instead of Sunday, but she and our granddaughter came anyway to get their stuff, and then we all went to the mall so our daughter could do some shopping. We walked around the mall while she shopped, and let our granddaughter play in the play area. Then we had lunch in the food court before saying our good-byes. Our granddaughter is really starting to learn words. Water is wa-hwoo, but we know what she wants when she says it, and it's great. We have nothing on the agenda for today, except listening to the stream of mass at my old parish. I hope you all have a great day.

We don't do anything special for the day, but I did get a nice text from our daughter before I was awake enough to remember what day it was. <lol> It should be another quiet day here, which is fine with me. I hope it's a good day for everyone.

Good #Sunday morning, Mastodonians. I just woke up a few minutes ago. Sleeping in until 8:00 is unheard of for me, or very rare anyway. But we were up late watching old Dick Van Dyke episodes, so I guess I had to catch up. We're supposed to be in the 80's today, which I guess is unheard of for this time of year, so we'll have lots of fun in the sun. I hope it's a good day for everyone.

@noy It so rarely gets above 65° here on the coast that we don't think to wear shorts unless we are headed inland! We did see several people in shorts and hoodies today... kind of a mixed "I'm cold, but the suns shining" vibe!

Good #Sunday morning, Mastodonians. We had a wild and fun time watching our granddaughter last night while her parents went on date night. I think our granddaughter must have drunk a pot of coffee before coming over, because she was totally full of energy. Even when it was obvious that she was getting tired and we were trying to slow her down, she was totally cheerful and full of energy and running all over and playing and laughing. Her parents felt terrible for us, but we had fun, and apparently she did too. They told us she was asleep almost instantly when they started home. We slept well last night. Today should be a quiet day, thank goodness! I hope it's a good day for all of you.
