Deer GodI was doing a work thing over the weekend and met the team for dinner sunday night. Yes sports was on TV, but holy shit the ads. Is this what TV is like now? The worst ones bay far were from Amazon. Tow stand out to me:eavesdropping alexa+ring camera dragnet surveillance (for lost pets)I wonder what would happen if you upload a pictrure of your lost dog that "happens to look like" the UPS driver.People accept this trash as a normal part of their lives?!?!?!

@cR0w for a month now, our demo unit was 100% functional. We move everything to the demo site and connectivity is degraded.Long story short, devops made a change to a PLC cabinet device, and DIDN'T commit the change.Upon troubleshooting, the devops person sent screenshots of said device settings for related ports. A vlan wasn't allowed on one side.It took 15 minutes of slack typing indicators and caps lock to get said engineer to make the change ***and save them.... Minutes before my hard stop to catch a flightI kept receiving explanations of behaviors rather than getting the action.That scene of Greg Caneer asking the bowler to flip the toggle comes to mind... Only I survived the death ray.
