I subscribed to newspapers and magazines, shopped in stores and malls and catalogs, and went to libraries, sent letters, or made phone calls if I needed information.
I goofed on my family, friends, neighbors, and co-workers instead of shitposting and reading others shitposts because these social circles were enough.
How in the hell is my life better now? Why do I depend on this instant gratification?
I am an addict!
I cannot stop whenever I want.
I seem to feel I need this constant, instant, 24/7 connection even though I know my online activity is constantly tracked, bought, and sold beyond my capabilities of vigilance.
I do not want to feel that anymore. I want the life I had.
