@stoeps Yeah in these cases we just recommend ubuntu

@stoeps evdi sucks on all linuxes, that's not a model limitation - that's hardware manufacturers sucking at linux.

2026 here we come!

Not that I'm keeping score (I totally am) but I think #Aurora #linux is proof that getting modern infrastructure people involved in the desktop is a good idea.

Exhibit A: Aurora exists. They made that. People dig it. And even if you don't dig it usually it's a payload decision (you don't like Bazaar or whatever) and not an infrastructure one.

Exhibit B: It has a following and it's bringing more people into KDE.

And my evidence there is the Aurora team itself. (Someone tag them all for me pls lol)

No one can keep up with renner. I'm so tired. systems people can make a difference on the #linux desktop!
