@EllenInEdmonton Yeah, I can't imagine an amount of money this large is an accounting error or difference of budgeting interpretations (one can always hope). As you noted, adding in the auditing and legal costs will make the next few years a very rough path for this league. Community Leagues are in a tough enough spot these days with growing infrastructure costs and remaining relevant and active. Tough, tough stuff.
The connection to Mastodon is a whole other issue I'm unsure of how it plays out, though I suspect we will see effects - including folks leaving the server now.
