@CordiallyChloe Idk, I don't think someone is a bad person for eating meat. And I get that most people just don't think about the far reaching impacts of it, and there's so much going on it's just one more thing. It just kinda makes me sad.

@CordiallyChloe I just don't think it's very hard. Like, I just make sure I have something I can eat before I go somewhere. Most places have vegan options, and all of my friends make sure there's vegan food when they invite us. And my diet got much more varied and interesting after I went vegan. I don't feel at all like veganism as deprived me of anything significant because of how much I've gained. It very much sounds like justifying Omelas.

Bring back the lesbianism/feminism that was closely intertwined with vegetarianism and led to the opening of queer cafes that only serve vegan/vegetarian food. That's the whole reason most good vegan spots are queer as hell.

Listening to a horror youtuber talking about how one of the most horrific books he's ever read is basically what if we raised people as meat and goes through what the meat industry does now but it's people instead of cows; and like, yeah, it's fucked. That's why I stopped eating meat. Maybe there is a way to eat meat in an ethical way, but it doesn't exist at scale right now, so why does it matter. #vegan

I just don't really get how people can casually eat meat. It just makes me really sad to think about. And because I know I'm in the minority, I just really try not to think about it.

Anytime I see a video that's like "TikTok ruined this hobby" I now think that the video creator just has a skill issue. It's like, yeah, people are going to push whatever creative medium they are interested in to it's maximum; stop comparing yourself to others and just make the stuff. This is an internal problem, not an external one.
