@apzpins That was the era for sure. I played a lot of perfect or near-perfect arcade ports on my PSX.
I pretty much knew what to expect from home ports before that. Maybe the super early PC Pac-Man port I once bought a boxed copy of was disappoonting. So old you booted the machine off the disk to play.

So, Bob Marley. It's impossible to capture the essence, the importance of the man in this short form, so I'm going to point you to the 2012 biopic "Marley," as well as the 2007 book "Before the Legend: The Rise of Bob Marley."
"Burnin' and Lootin'" is the title track from Bob Marley & The Wailers' 1973 "Burnin'" album. This is a really terrific live performance of "Burnin' and Lootin'" from 1977. I really like this version, the fat bass tone is out of this world, and the guitar solos are perfect.
His modern-day image tends to get plastered on a lot of tchotchkes, which I think isn't really a good representation of him. He was outspoken about democracy and social justice, positions which earned him an assassination attempt. This song is about rioting; much of his music touches on these themes. They are, sadly, more relevant than ever.r
