@metacurity @hacks4pancakes I've been following UnseenJapan on here and some of the stories they post make me not want to visit Japan despite it being #1 on my list.
@hacks4pancakes If it wasn’t, those secret service agents need to be disciplined. They weren’t paying attention and the guy blew right past them, and then they fired off a bunch of rounds that hit nothing but the decor.
@hacks4pancakes I even dug through my toots and couldnt find it but I definitely remember wondering how.. different this is for cybersecurity? Someone made a new automated scanner? cool! Why is this revolutionary? It doesnt change how you use tools: they give time, not skill. Yes even without skill you can spam a tool at something and have things happen but youre flying blind and the reason why it wasnt enough to be a script kiddie 10 years ago still apply even when your VERYYY expensive rube goldberg linear algebra doer works as a good scanner
@hacks4pancakes We were raised on a broken very relativist ethical basis which skewed hard towards the heartless "live and let die" American libertarianism.I don't think the public at large really believes absolute evil like this is even real.
