A prime minister with a penchant for centralizing power does not want to be challenged, Althia Raj writes.

In discussion about this article I've seen around there has been much made of Carney's attitude and what it says about his leadership style. All worthy discussion. However, there was one line in particular that set off alarms in my mind that I feel people aren't giving the attention it deserves:
"Over the course of several caucus meetings now, Grit MPs report Carney lashing out at certain members when he doesn’t like the message they deliver. They include […] being told not to come to the prime minister with his concerns over the lack of federal response to Alberta’s two-tiered health care Bill 11"
I think we need to mentally prepare ourselves for the possibility we are going to have to fight to save our healthcare under this government.
@avilewis I think it's worth noting that Carney is invested in Palantir according to his summary statement at https://prciec-rpccie.parl.gc.ca/EN/PublicRegistries/Pages/Declaration.aspx?DeclarationID=cd9fa6cd-e00f-f011-8194-001dd8b72449
