  • I didn't choose to be trans. I just am.

Plus what you, or anyone else, does with their own body is no one else's business. End of story.

If someone is trans, gay, cis or straight, it is none of my business. Just as it's no one else's business my gender or orientation. It's not hard. The only people making it weird* are the transphobes.

*insert appropriate descriptor of your choice, this is the first that came to me head, though 'dangerous' would also work now I think about it

  • I'm a puppy raiser for Irish Guide Dogs.

I'm a puppy raiser for Irish Guide Dogs. If your puppy qualifies they award you a lovely and much coveted (by me) bronze figurine.

This is the bronze I was awarded when my first puppy, Yohan, qualified last year.

I've customised it to include his most memorable foibles.

(For those that don't know, his collecting and scavenging habits have been turned into assistance dog feature, as he is also a guide dog for someone with other physical disability)

I've had similar. He reckons his dog is just being friendly when it has its bared teeth on my dogs neck. The attitude is what gets me the most. No one else has complained, he said. I've spoken to people since who say him and his dog are a menace.

Since then they, for example, confiscated amplification equipment of vocal anti brexit campaigner Steve Bray. Sentenced protesters to 5 years for sitting in a *road. And much more.

Around the time that statue was pushed in the dock in Bristol as part of the Black Lives Matter protest hit the UK. That's when the Tories really went in on stripping away the right to protest. It culminated in loosely worded legislation in a new act in 2022.
