I have deeply mixed feelings about #ActivityPub's adoption of JSON-LD, as someone who's spent way too long dealing with it while building #Fedify.@silverpill @mariusor @hongminhee Fetching from the origin _is_ signature verification. It's just done by the TLS implementation rather than by the ActivityPub implementation.
