CIRCLE WITH A DOT

I haven't been spending much time on Mastodon lately, as it seems to carry too much sad and depressing news. I hopped on this morning thanks to tag alerting me to the potentially precarious state of mstdn.ca. Soooo.... In light of all of that, are there any (preferably Canadian) instances that are well-managed and perhaps contain more happy and uplifting toots?

@projektmyra Interesting. So you have that option in Libby to "read with Kindle?" I definitely do not, in Canada.

@ECityMom I mean, they don't exactly advertise the fact that their "artificial intelligence" is actually backed up by human moderators reviewing the constant stream of images to be sure that the computer is making the correct decisions. It's not going to be obvious to people who don't read all the terms & conditions, and aren't technologically savvy (even if they think they are, but are really just tech fanboys).

A friend who disappeared from an online forum due to illness has reappeared and it has made me inordinately happy.
