@divVerent @verge Absolutely!! She mimics or out right copied Tolkien and so many others. She was very “ influenced “ by great writers and I hope children /adults go on to read those and if they too see the similarities well… read on because a good book only last until the last page. I hope the love of reading starts somewhere. And they don’t rely on movies to get their attention. I absolutely love Sir Terry Pratchett. My absolutely favorite. ️

@zbrown @verge I’m sorry for her rhetoric having impacted your life.These are turbulent times with multiple factions tearing down rights we previously had. I get that. I no longer have rights to my own body anymore. That results from mostly rich white men having more control over my body through laws they pass. I get repercussions from small minds carry huge consequences. I’m sorry again for your loses. I guess I just know that it will turn again. We will turn it again. Believe.

@zbrown @verge She’s disappointed most of her fans and she’s rich enough to not give a . I get it. But there are more than enough people who want to destroy our country democracy planet
Most of those people are doing more damage than JK could ever do.
I think we put her on a pedestal. We loved her rags to riches story writing in the fish and chip shops and stuff like that. Wanted her to be better and she isn’t. She’s shallow minded and self centered. That’s her life. Not ours

@zbrown @verge Sorry possibly so. I meant the comparison that we don’t know enough about any writer to say whether they agreed with our own beliefs. To judge JK because of things she says are hers …well I just think HP is a great kids book series. I apologize if I defamed Dickens. I don’t like Tom Cruise because of his behavior and beliefs which aren’t mine but Top Gun is still a great movie.

@verge Don’t throw the baby out with the bath water. Harry Potter is a delight and kids can enjoy every minute of them.
JK has views most progressive thinkers don’t agree with but then Charles Dickens abhorred poverty but seemed fine with slavery. Each of us has choices to make. She has to live with herself. We can live without.
