As far as have been told you get the diagnosis Fibromyalgia if you have been to several doctors that say they can not help you, because every bloodtest shows that you are healthy and should not feel the way you do.
Fibromyalgia is said to be a condition where the central nervous system gives wrong signals of pain different places in the body. The brain misinterpreted the nerve signals. That's why the doctors have no clue what to do.
They rule out every dangerous illness. And what's left is apparently a stupid brain and the way it read the nerve signals .
You can apparently do everything , but you can't feel when you have done too much, and that can be the reason why you later can do absolutely nothing because of pain.
At least, that's how I have understood fibromyalgia

Is #fibromyalgia really the diagnosis one gets when the doctors can't figure out what your real problem is? -
After numerous trials I’ve finally found a mask that works for me on my CPAP.@Pinchy63 I will tell him. And thank you. You are so cool. I wish you all the best.

It's my son using the mask.
And because he never stops breathing, but never breathes deeply during the first part of the night, we spoke with the doctor, and got permission to stop using it every night after 4 to 5 hours of use.
It helps him, but he dislikes using the CPAP. -
After numerous trials I’ve finally found a mask that works for me on my CPAP.@Pinchy63 If you succeed, you'll be one of the cool people. One doctor I spoke with told me that only about 50 percent will come to like living with their CPAP, so I'm voting for you.

I'm totally new with the diagnosis, even though I know the daily pain all too well

Hi.
My son also use cpap and was sad he could only lie on one side otherwise the mask fell of, so we took the tube and liftet it with a string, so now the tube follow the mask when he turn his head, and seldom leaks.
