@ascentale@sfba.social @bikenite@fedigroups.social A8: Not something I saw, but I've just replaced my road bike saddles. Left (old): Specialized Power Arc (143mm width). Right (new): Selle Italia Nova Boost EVO TI 316 (145mm width). I've been pretty happy with the Power Arc but always wanted to try the Nova Boost EVO because of its solid reputation. I'll see how it goes! #BikeNite #BikeTooter

And our last question of the week: -
@uxmark asks:@ascentale@sfba.social @uxmark@mstdn.ca @bikenite@fedigroups.social A7: I always use a bell when I pass other road users (i.e. people walking and cycling) on trails and in cycle lanes. I know some people say that they don't let their presence be known because an audible signal causes those they try to pass to behave unpredictably. That's never been my experience. I try to give adequate space when passing, too. #BikeNite

@bobjonkman via @CharlesSites sort of ask:@MrBirch@beige.party @ascentale@sfba.social @bobjonkman@mastodon.sdf.org @CharlesSites@hoosier.social @bikenite@fedigroups.social Thanks. I'd have thought mountain bikes used schrader valves, but I must be wrong!

@bobjonkman via @CharlesSites sort of ask:@MrBirch@beige.party @ascentale@sfba.social @bobjonkman@mastodon.sdf.org @CharlesSites@hoosier.social @bikenite@fedigroups.social You got me curious. How do you add sealant to tubeless tires through schrader valves?

@bobjonkman via @CharlesSites sort of ask:@ascentale@sfba.social @bobjonkman@mastodon.sdf.org @CharlesSites@hoosier.social @bikenite@fedigroups.social A4: I use both, and I don't have a strong preference. I do think it'd be more convenient if the valve type could be standardized, though. #BikeNite
