    @urlyman i wouldnt say assault.

Its worse than assault, by a long shot.

A punch in the face leaves a black eye for a week. This invasion of humanity wrecks a human for years or decades.

In reality, its high dimensional vector calculus, over the trained material and your words in your context.

All this LLM workings is just vector calculus, that Leibniz devised in the 1700s. We only had the compute to do it in 2012.

Its not thinking, yet. Its not intelligence. Its a stochastic parrot trained on TBs of data, following Leibniz' dream of word-calculus.

We still dont know how consciousness works, or to create a thinking machine.

Thats what you and most AI haters miss.

LLMs are right like 90% or so at a time.

Even 80B models are right a big majority of the time. This is why normies and managerial staff are like "this is amazing". They dont know what they dont know.

Its that last 10% that breaks all sorts of stuff and people. And you have to be a specialist in that 10% to know when its bullshitting/hallucinating/lying to you.

This is one such requisition by the US military for mine/bomb disposal.

My sister worked for Stonebelt for 9 months, and in her experiences they do NOT know what theyre doing. And theres not much choice either in participating - refusal of a military part contract is tantamount of refusing services from the org.

This is the shit I'm angry at. Ive tried to put pressure publicly. No dice.

And I'm here in Bloomington Indiana, and the primary organization here who serves the mentally disabled is called "Stonebelt ARC".

ARC is 'association of retarded citizens'. This is still on their nonprofit incorporation and property deeds across the county.

However as terrible as 'retard' is, the absolute worse part is that Stonebelt places their mentally challenged clients to a US gov weapons manufacturing line.

I care more about actual abuses, and not nearly as much 'bad names'. I have enough anger for actual abuse actions. Its hard for me to care that much with elementary school level 'he said a bad name'.

I had a friend year ago who was a commercial pilot. Went through a tough patch, divorce. That sort of thing, that therapy really helps.

Except FAA rules demand to know if you have been to any psychologists/psychiatrists. The FAA weaponizes that against pilots upon threat of perjury. (Federal clearance applications also asks this exactly.)

The only way to get around that is to find a private mental health practitioner, do not use your insurance, lie about your name, and pay cash.

Its still technically perjury but the point is the FAA cant prove anything.

Goes back to a few things ive said.

    1. Dont trust anybody in the psychology/psychiatry professions. Anything you say can and will be used against you. Legal defenses can be broken by judge.

    2. Most mental health issues is "doesnt make enough money". If people had enough money to live, most of these stress based mental health issues would quickly evaporate.

Wikipedia page on this says it best:

19th-century German philosopher Karl Marx, the founder and primary theorist of Marxism, viewed religion as "the soul of soulless conditions" or the "opium of the people". He believed religion survives because of oppressive social conditions. When this oppressive and exploitative condition is destroyed, religion will become unnecessary, according to Marx. At the same time, he saw religion as a form of working-class protest against poor economic conditions and alienation. Denys Turner, a scholar of Marx and historical theology, classified Marx's views as adhering to post-theism, a philosophical position that regards worshiping deities as an eventually obsolete, but temporarily necessary, stage in humanity's historical spiritual development.
