I discovered I am gluten intolerant when I went to Mexico City two months ago. Our team had very frank "butts and guys" talks as you want to be careful about what you eat and drink there. Well, it turned out that my gut was the healthiest it had been in years while there and went back to unhealthy when I returned to Canada. I realized that my diet in Mexico was corn-based, not wheat-based and that was the beginning of this journey. When you going on a missions/service trip you anticipate a time of self discovery and personal change. But this discovery caught me by surprise.
I can't know for sure because I'm not the one who does most of the grocery shopping for the family, but it sure seemed like there were a lot more men with children in the grocery store today than usual.
Single digits on the odometer!Never had a new car before. In this weird world it is actually cheaper to buy new Toyota than one that is 3 years old. We just needed to wait a few months for delivery.
Making the most of my Sunday morning.Up early for time in the scripture and prayer, biked to the YMCA for a sauna, bike home to hang laundry, and now making pancakes for the family that is still sleeping. And all this before heading to church.
