That might be the best period of hockey I've seen the #WinnipegJets play all year. What if Stanley and Shenn were actually the problem? I know there's still issues with the middle 6, but our younger guys we're slotting in are showing more and more promise. #HNOM

@Sanderde This is concerning...crossing the floor is a part of our democratic system; it is a critical component of allowing your elected MP to work best with the people that will further your interests. If the MP felt their party was best positioned to further the concerns of their constituents, why would they cross the floor?

The system of party allegiance above all is toxic. If floor crossing happens, it happens, and sort it out in the next regular election.

So just as a FYI, if you're a #Feedly user, they're approaching your data more and more like a walled garden. If flexibility and portability is important to you, maybe time to look into alternate services; there's lots of options! #RSS

@tg Yeah, Feedly was clearly the biggest winner with the Google Reader shutdown. I used Feedly for a little while, then went to Feedbin, then to FreshRSS self-hosted, then over to News Explorer for iOS/Mac synced via iCloud, and now back to FreshRSS self-hosted. I decided that web access is important enough for me and pretty much all the RSS apps can sync with FreshRSS so it allows me to try out a variety of interfaces, like Current, as well

@tg Honestly, I feel any company moving towards lock-in these days can't read the tea leaves and isn't worth your time.

The way I see it, I view AI Agents to traditional AI interfaces as parallel to multi-core CPUs to single-core CPUs.

And like the transition to a multi-core architecture, which ultimately shifted the bottleneck of CPU performance into new domains, Agents solve a very real problem with AI implementations of the past 5 years but whose limits will become quickly apparent, in both expected and unexpected ways. Not to mention that Agents require significant investment in processing and bandwidth for AI companies -- who are all still bleeding money at an alarming rate.

Some of the structural challenges for AI Agents will be solved, but whether their utility can be justified within an economically fragile system...that's what I have my biggest doubts about.

@matt_birchler Sadly, too many people don't understand why process is actually important, even if it's frustrating at times.
