It was another time I was proud to be Canadian. He was slick, he had big money behind him, but Canadians saw where he was going and didn't fall for it.

I am so worried about this latest push to rehabilitate him. He has done a lot of work on trying to appear more human, but he is still the guy who wouldn't talk to the other parents on his son's hockey team because some of them were with the NDP.

These are the conversations to be having with family now. Don't fall for the masquerade.

I actually believe he is more dangerous than Trump because he actually thought up most of his diabolical actions. Trump is being fed his by some terrible people.

If he had unfettered power like Trump? He still had a senate and Supreme Court that were not in his pocket.

The US would probably have invaded sooner to get rid of the fascist threat here, before they managed to take over there.

Alberta was always a bit redneck, but mostly good people.

The Harper gang nurtured every bit of hate that now festers there like a farmers crop.

Be very careful when you say you’re looking for “strong” leadership.

This particular politician is just like Trump with the promises and he hates the left more than anyone.

Just a reminder to everyone who was too young to remember, Stephen Harper was a strong leader who almost got away with destroying our democracy.

He tried to take away voting rights. He tried to bribe a senator. He loaded the senate with people he knew would fail so that he could get Canadians onside with dismantling it. He didn’t like the power the senate held over the Prime Minister. He did everything he could to make us subservient to the US.

He was pretty good at achieving his goals but he overshot, broke his own fixed election promise and called an election thinking he would give the Liberals a hard run, but Canadians from coast to coast had enough and sent him packing.

He gave tax breaks to corps, believes in trickle down economics and hates science, especially climate science.

If you don’t like the current PM because he is too right wing, Stephen Miller Harper is right wing rocket fuel. I hope you do your own research. The Harper years damaged us and we still have not recovered.

If you don't like Canada, you can leave.

But talk of leaving the dominion and taking territory with you? You don't have that right.

These referendums should be open to all Canadians.
