@AnnieBuddy it was very gradual and seemingly 'common sense' . Villainizing immigrants so overtly felt like a down fall. Then they're was quashing of science communicating. I was neutral on the gun registry because partners with guns informed the RCMP. even before the registry

@AnnieBuddy that was the point of the reform party. Christian meets libertarian. Smith is libertarian x separatist.
I think people have always just wanted transparency on government spending and there doesn't seem to be a good way to transmit that info. I remember during the 2019 AB election there was an easy to understand comparison of budgets with ~20 line items that crossed my media stream. I could never find it again.

He tried to take away voting rights. He tried to bribe a senator. He loaded the senate with people he knew would fail so that he could get Canadians onside with dismantling it. He didn’t like the power the senate held over the Prime Minister. He did everything he could to make us subservient to the US.
He was pretty good at achieving his goals but he overshot, broke his own fixed election promise and called an election thinking he would give the Liberals a hard run, but Canadians from coast to coast had enough and sent him packing.
He gave tax breaks to corps, believes in trickle down economics and hates science, especially climate science.
If you don’t like the current PM because he is too right wing, Stephen Miller Harper is right wing rocket fuel. I hope you do your own research. The Harper years damaged us and we still have not recovered.
So we should be leery of Carney given the current love-in between him and Harper.

It was another time I was proud to be Canadian. He was slick, he had big money behind him, but Canadians saw where he was going and didn't fall for it.
I am so worried about this latest push to rehabilitate him. He has done a lot of work on trying to appear more human, but he is still the guy who wouldn't talk to the other parents on his son's hockey team because some of them were with the NDP.
These are the conversations to be having with family now. Don't fall for the masquerade.
