It's the first day of #RootsTech and I'm #NotAtRootsTech but will be watching from the comfort of my home office. After making my three-day schedule, I find that the two topics dominating are German research and AI. I don't really want to use AI, but do need to be aware of what is being claimed and proposed. I'm disappointed that there is so much focus on it this year. But it's a tech-focused conference, so I suppose that should be expected.
