#OTD 10 February 1852, Anna Margaretha (Greta) was born to 29-year-old Anna Catharina Olofsdotter, the maidservant of the widowed Pehr Eric Viberg, my 3rd-great-grandfather, age 52. He was named in the baptismal record of Vårdinge parish, Stockholm County, as the father of the out-of-wedlock baby. The banns were called starting in March and the couple married in April. Greta had nine older half-siblings and three more children followed. The family moved to the Fattighuset, the poorhouse, in 1860. The last child was born in the poorhouse and died there, as did Greta. She died at age 10, with the cause listed as bröst inflammation, probably pneumonia.

@forestfern Thank you. I do enjoy the richness that can be found in the Swedish records, even when they show my family members in less than ideal ways. I wish the US records were as comprehensive.
