Makes ya wonder about how we always criticize the non-avian dinosaurs for having had small brains. Maybe theirs were on a par with the avians. Being a large predator, like a t-rex, would require some brain power. -

Homo Naledi was also getting smaller brains, on their way back into the trees. Perhaps to have faster response times between the branches, who will tell? Too bad that was a dead end as well. -
