@beecycling But really though, all this “individualism” and “you can do it all yourself” has really hurt many people and arguably multiple generations…
All of what is described here is basically tasks that should be performed by multiple people, not a single person. And yet here we are in this society and capitalism saying things like this REPEATEDLY -

And go paperless on all your bills, but make sure that you log into each individual accounts according to its own individual calendars so you can make your payments on time. Unless you, nudge nudge wink wink, want to give us direct access to your bank accounts.

And use whatever 2FA system they implement, and have a unique password that looks like line noise that you change every 30 days and exists nowhere except in your head.

Then pay us twice as much for half the hours, you assholes.(That wouldn't be enough to solve the problem, as this list is demanding essentially three full work weeks of us every week, but it would make it viable to even *try* half of it...)
...Also, I belatedly notice that this list doesn't even include maintaining one's house, hygiene, grocery shopping...

@beecycling Ma'am, this is a Wendy's.

@beecycling Because this seems to be the list for women. Guess the one for the men is shorter or some tasks come with extra plaudits for them.
@FrauSuutje @beecycling Women and progressive liberal men.

@pteryx Yeah, there's only so much space! And after the job part really I wanted to focus more on things we're told we should do, and indeed we mostly want to do, to be happier, healthier, etc, rather than on the stuff that's simply more demands on our time.

@FrauSuutje @beecycling Women and progressive liberal men.
@vonxylofon @FrauSuutje This isn't really a men versus women thing. Men are being robbed of their time too, to make other people rich. This is an #antiwork thing.
Or at least an anti full-time work thing. Give us UBI. Give us more part-time jobs. Lose the expectation that everyone should have a job, even as jobs continue to inexorably disappear. Give people the free time they need to thrive, not be mere drones. -

@beecycling Put people in a position where they have to "cheat" by doing some of these things during work hours. To avoid being noticed/caught they will then accept everything you throw their way, and won't complain about anything.
Same reason Christianity all but forbade sex, or governements make drugs such as cannabis illegal.
