Did I ever tell you about that time I was reading a book at a bar and this lady came with her dog to pay at the counter and the dog started barking at me, and the lady apologised and said "Excuse my dog, he is not used to seeing books"?

@isaactly_s a very long time ago, i used to live across the street from a bar and during the summer, after work, i would get a beer and sit outside and read. someone came up to me and said "wtf are you doing? this isnt a library! people come here to drink, not read!" *sigh*
@emily_rugburn

yeah, right? *Sigh* -

My friend told a whole group of people that she hasnβt read a book since leaving high school almost 50 yrs ago. She was actually proud of it. BTW we arenβt friends anymore. -

I wonder if she did it deliberately or it just happened without her intention (ofc there must be intention) -

@emily_rugburn I get you. Same with tea.
And weird is good, right? As in "you're reading a book, you're weird" or "you haven't watched [insert blockbuster] yet? That's weird"
