    @yassie_j @fiore yknow you probably would use fedora which is the least fiore compliant fiore approved distro but it is fiore approved

      @LivingCooki@void.lgbt listing all them would take too long but some basic guidelines are:

      • Free as in Freedom (from any gnu software)
      • wayland
      • generally tries to improve upon the tried and tired linux defaults we have been stuck with for 15 years

        @fiore I read somewhere on the wiki that gnu utils are like the one thing Gentoo kinda depends on. I have considered switching to musl tho, but I haven't done it yet

        I do use Wayland yes. Still have an X11 boot option but I've already considered getting rid of it because I never use it

        And uhh I use OpenRC

              @LivingCooki@void.lgbt musl is better than glibc , and is acceptable .. "good" is like .. apparently an impossible thing for a linux libc to be

                                @fiore hey, the kernel is theoretically even posix compliant.
                                and teams breaks my soundcard sometimes.
                                windows today feels like linux back in the days, when things just brake when looked wrongly at.

                                    @coolbean @fiore and gentoo with a custom profile that's basically hardened-musl (musl + gcc libc++) + features/desktop, using clang as a system compiler with O3 on some categories of packages and thinlto on select packages (plus im trying polyhedral optimzations with polly these days), deblob the post unpack hook and a custom script to find any agent.md-like in the distfiles + a hand written package.mask/slop
