Age verification laws forcing platforms to restrict content access have been multiplying exponentially.

The problem is, implementing such measures necessarily requires identifying every user accessing the content, one way or another.

This is bad news for everyone.

    If these regulations continue
to proliferate, this could lead to the end of pseudonymity online, and much worse.

I wrote this article last year,
but unfortunately this problem has only become worse, and it is sadly still very relevant.

@Em0nM4stodon that's why we MUST OPPOSE THIS #CYBERFASCISM BY ANY MEANS NECESSARY!

      • And if that means #kids doing #CopyParties for #Tails & #TorBrowser, then so be it!

@Em0nM4stodon Responsible parents aiming to educate their kids should bring them at libraries and in nature instead of disengaging themselves from raising kids by gluing them in front of screens and feeding them processed food at a very young age. On the other-hand the state has no place in treating adults as if there were their children while building a mass-surveillance panopticon. Period.

I feel at some point someone is going to get this pulled into court, and God knows how it will be ruled on, but it seems like very quickly this will to cause an explosive public case where some child or another person is harmed because of this process; people will lose money or something worse will happen
