2/ While this piece surely makes solid points and I really appreciate Walter's scholarship, it needs to be said -- so I as a military veteran and retired DOD civilian will say it -- there is no Constitutional vehicle for a military coup in the United States, and the military writ large simply will not consider it. The responsibility for removing this insane, violent, dementia-riddled man from our house is Constitutionally accounted for entirely within the Congress or the Cabinet. We the people are responsible for the content of the Congress, and we have a chance to do something about that this year. We must.
