@erkhyan I see this cognitive distortion a lot. People don't back up and compare with a baseline, they just fuzzily judge based on how frequently they see a conversation happening, causing them to get things exactly backwards. I don't know what to do about it!

Google does not, in fact, pay themselves* to put AI in Chrome
*Actually, depending on how Alphabet does their internal accounting, they very well could be paying themselves to put AI in Chrome

@erkhyan Reminds me of all those people who threatened to switch to Brave because they didn't want to deal with Firefox getting worse... when Brave somehow has those same issues amplified up to eleven
