My #gardening thumb has finally been activated. It only took 65 yrs & someone who had a vision for our front yard (from St Augustine grass to St Francis w/#California natives!), a lot of patience, & an ability to help me make a garden in #LA that spoke to my #Berkeley state of being. We call it The Let it Bee Zen Project; aka the anti-death cult project. Cultivating beauty (& I know how privileged I am to be able to do this) may not be an act of resistance but it's essential.
