Two rides down 105Ave, driver parked in the bike lane each ride RIGHT BESIDE WHERE THEY COULD LEGALLY PARK ON THE SIDEWALK.

Two rides down 105Ave, driver parked in the bike lane each ride RIGHT BESIDE WHERE THEY COULD LEGALLY PARK ON THE SIDEWALK. Whoda thunk drivers would be confused by the only legal sidewalk parking in the city?

老婆 tells me there was yet another crash on the 107Ave bridge over Groat. The average is about 5/a based on the aftermath I see. If the City was serious about #VisionZero, they’d redesign the road. Why 4 lanes balloons to up to 8 then back to 4 over a 500m stretch is crazy. Maybe drivers turning left off the bridge should have to pick up and wave a little neon flag

I was just by there earlier this evening and saw the same truck (plus a car doing the same further west).
Having finally seen this stretch up close, I absolutely don't blame the drivers at all for this. There is nothing about the pavement and design of the actual parking zone that indicates that that's what it is.
It's so badly done.
