This morning, in our tea room in #Treviso, we have a #Gyokuro tasting scheduled, featuring one of the most precious #Japanese teas.
Gyokuro (玉露), meaning "Jade Dew" or "Jewel Dew" in Japanese, perfectly captures not only the rarity of this tea (only 0.3% of all tea produced in #Japan is Gyokuro) but also its rich, intense aroma, a pure expression of umami.

Our local tea speciality shop had Gyokuro tea at an acceptable price that I grabbed at an impulse because I liked the name and the taste description on the package.
Actually really loved it, but didn't know it is such a rare and special thing.
Have to look if they still offer it!

@Multiplexer if you happen to find it again, try to eat the leaves after you steeped them, adding some soy sauce: they are extremely tasty!
And if you want to know more, we're here 😊
