Here another #EU general knowledge question for you:
The European Parliament works in committees, that usually have four-letter names that are abbreviations or portmanteaus or short words relating to their subject matter. For example, the constitutional affairs committee is AFCO
(AFfairs Constitutional).
What is the name of the committtee that handles oceans and fisheries?#EPSOprep #EPSO #EuropeanParliament #StudyWityMe #EuropeanStudies

This is a fun one, that I chose for a reason! All three names exist in the EU bubble!
The EU Commission’s Directorate General for Oceans and Fisheries is called DG MARE.
The council meets under the name AGRI*FISH*
But in the European Parliament? It’s the PECH committee!
You can’t make this stuff up, really!
Gotta love #EU Affairs! -

I am studying for an exam about the EU, that would allow me to become a civil servant. It's called the #EPSO, which stands for European Personnel Selection Office.
This year they are organising the first exam for "generalists" since 2019, and 170k people signed up. So I am making content out of my efforts to prepare, so sometimes I get real niche...
