ITT: cryptographic options for dealing with age verification.

I'm aware of California's law about age verification and OSS. There is a potential option involving some fairly simple but possibly novel cryptographic protocols.

I have drafts of some such protocols, but I am not a real cryptographer and I'm subject to release review requirements, but I can talk about the general ideas.

@emc2 AFAIK, the California law does not require any age verification. The user puts whatever age they want in at account creation time. Presumably in the case of a child a parent would create the account and configure a correct age or age range.

Other places apparently do have or are hoping to have some sort of age verification.
