I think less #NVDA users would complain about addon breakage every single year if more stuff became core. Why is speech history not apart of core? Why is emoticons not core? These two addons are not only essential to every day nvda usage, but are multiple years old each, meaning that they could have been incorperated forever ago. I get not making new speech synths native. I get not making things like youtube downloaders core, but these? Markdown managers, math managers, the enhanced find dialog, enhanced dictionary handling, application dictionary which is separate, speech filter, update channel selecctor thing, and there is certainly more...Do you know how many addons people would not need to keep constantly updating if this stuff became nvda norm? It already happened with remote, it should happen to more things too.

@amir @threlm4280 I agree, especially since the community around NVDA are 99% users and 1% developers, and more addons are seemingly forgotten and abandoned. I mean maybe more users will venture out into vibecoding stuff into working, but I doubt it.

@threlm4280 Please no. The more code they add to core, the more security issues there are. I have zero of the addons on your list installed. I don't need them. And I don't want them bloating core.
