#WordWeavers 3.10 — Antagonist POV: Imagine you achieved your goal. What’s next?
Isma: What if I don't have a goal in this life? What then? I'm here to exist on this earth. There's nothing more to it. I'm older than most, and I'll survive beyond the majority of them as well. I've grown bored with life. I need some excitement to rekindle my desire to keep moving through the ages.

#WordWeavers 3.11 — Give an example of brilliant writing. What’s special about it?
Oh. My. Gosh. Kaylie Smith's writing is a refreshing breath of clean air for me. Writing from some romance or romantasy authors can feel stale. Hers doesn't and never will. I adore her writing, and we've actually become friends over the years. Here are some examples. Her writing is special to me, and I can't exactly say why. I don't know what it is about her work but it's brilliant. I adore that woman.
• “My soul will go to its grave with your name echoing in my mind.”
• “In all the darkness, in all the loneliness, you have been my one source of light.”
• “You don’t need to fix yourself. You’re not broken.”
• “In a different life, in a fair one, I would've kept you until my eternal soul withered away to dust.”
• “My soul is your soul. My heart is your heart. My blood is your blood. Eternally.”
•“Shadows can only be seen in the presence of light.”
•“I want you to know, I really would have waited for you, right here, forever if that’s what it would have taken.”
• “Love. Loathing. Same passion, different names.”

#WordWeavers 3.12 — How could someone who knows your MC well console them after the last time you made them suffer?
Hati knows him better than most. He's her closest and best friend. Consoling him has become a task that she's willingly, happily taken on. If anyone could do it, it would be her. And me, oh, I've made him suffer throughout this book (that's turned into series) and I'm horrible for it. Shame on me.

#WordWeavers 3.13 — Tell us about a quirk your SC has.
Caden twitches, sometimes. He's always bouncing his leg, for example. He's constantly filled with energy. He frequently overlooks details or makes careless mistakes. On another note, he often has difficulty maintaining focus. These days, in modern times (as someone who has AuDHD), we might just be able to diagnose him with ADHD. You never know, though!

#WordWeavers 3.14 — Is selling your work for money important to you when you write?
I write for the joy of it. Selling is a lovely thing, too. I love that aspect of things, but all in all, I write because it's a must, a need, and not something I just occasionally do. I have stories within me that need to be told, and it brings me joy to scribble them down.

#WordWeavers 3.15 — If your SC came across a large crystal that was glowing from within, what, if anything, would they do with it?
If Hati stumbled across said crystal, she would no doubt bring it to Dorcha Castle to ask Alistair and Fenella about it. Caden as well, surely. She wouldn't know what else to do. Magic plays a part in this story as well, so there's also that to consider.

#WordWeavers 3.16 — Do you have any kind of ritual to get in the mood to sit down and write? If so, what is it?
I put music on. That's always a huge part of my ritual. And I also need to have a jug of water at my side. That's definitely a "must have" for me. But yes, I like to put on music playlists that I've made for my stories. It gets me into the right headspace and into the mood to write and have the ideas flow.

#WordWeavers 3.17 — Did you ever receive formal education in creative writing?
Not really. Aside from being a member of the school newspaper team and also being in some creative writing classes, I haven't.

#WordWeavers 3.18 — Tell us about a time when your MC failed.
Instead of a single time, I'll mention a "thing" that Alistair has failed at: telling the truth. Throughout the story, he's an unreliable narrator. He's had so many chances to tell Fenella, and even Caden, the truth. But he hasn't. It's time to fess up.

#WordWeavers 3.19 — Share something that makes your SC different from your MC.
The big ol' answer is what she is. It's actually quite simple. Alistair (MMC) is a vampire, and Hati (FSC) is a werewolf. They're both immortals, but they aren't the same kind, and yet, despite what their people deem is appropriate, they're close friends.

@floofpaldi In my D&D campaign the party failed to save a young squire once, one of my NPC's named 'Ser Gwen the Brave'.
Did my best to scar them emotionally for it, haha.

#WordWeavers 3.20 — Where does your MC fall, on a scale of timid to recklessly brave?
Ooooh, tiny spoiler here...
Alistair used to be reckless, then turned recklessly brave, eventually timid, and maybe now he's coming around to being recklessly brave again. Circumstances have changed him.

#WordWeavers 3.23 — What are you careful about when writing?
Oh, there are many things, I'm sure. Race, culture, subjects containing CWs or TWs, etc. I would *never* want to miswrite things, or make serious issues seem unimportant. We strive to be the best people we can be while we're writing stories that need to be told. It really is as simple and as complicated as that.

@FlashMobOfOne As a fellow dungeon/game master, I highly approve of this. Love it.
