A new day. A new chance to succeed.

A quiet day planned but we know how plans go. A chop wood, carry water day.

A day for reading, perhaps writing. Certainly a day to play games. To sink into a world of my own making.

Selfish? Perhaps.

But on airplanes they tell you to put on your own mask first.

Sounds bad but the rationale is that it's hard to help others if you can't breathe yourself.

And sometimes, you just have to breathe.
