Because the USA built the digital infrastructure faster, and we trusted them.
So we used their services instead of creating our own.
Now, we are paying the price.

Sure, but I think more people need to stop using American tech.
Even me, I still use Visa, Mastercard, YouTube, Amazon, Discord, etc.
They could close them at any moment given enough incentive.
Moving out is obviously an on-going process.

Where are the govts of the world, vowing to ignore the sanctions which are nothing more than a mafia state using instruments of govt to bat off accountability? All I see is a world full of subservient US dependencies who are scared stiff to cross Dear Leader. Trump could 'take' any country he likes and the world would just let it happen.

They are all about preaching two-faced sermons to their own citizens to retain power for themselves, but when push comes to shove they appease genocide and fascism. They dumped democracy somewhere back down the road
