@mlanger Trailblazer! I recall maybe around 1995ish my uncle showing me the internet, specifically the NASA astronomy photo of the day and watching it slowly paint across the screen. Aw memories. Still a thing all these years later: https://apod.nasa.gov/apod/

@User47 I remember taking an #HTML class at a Mac user group. I remember being shocked at how easy it was to create a webpage. I did a lot of hand-coding until the PageMill app came out. I wrote a book about that for Peachpit Press. Then it was bought out by Adobe which eventually replaced it with Dreamweaver. But that original PageMill was great for creating pure HTML webpages.
Now I use MarsEdit to compose for WordPress. But rather than the WYSIWYG page editor, I still hand-code formatting.

@User47 This website has the exact look and feel of 1990s webpages. The only thing that's missing is some blink text!

@ricmac In the beginning the Web was created. This had made many people very angry and has been widely regarded as a bad move.
