I remember being shocked at how easy it was to create a webpage. I did a lot of hand-coding until the PageMill app came out. I wrote a book about that for Peachpit Press. Then it was bought out by Adobe which eventually replaced it with Dreamweaver. But that original PageMill was great for creating pure HTML webpages.</p><p>Now I use MarsEdit to compose for WordPress. I recall maybe around 1995ish my uncle showing me the internet, specifically the NASA astronomy photo of the day and watching it slowly paint across the screen. Aw memories.
