Fortunately, #selfHosting #Jabber is pretty easy, and there are many other options, see https://providers.xmpp.net/#providers by @xmpp_providers and https://joinjabber.org/docs/servers/ by @joinjabber.

@mailbox_org #XMPPThe biggest problem with running ejabberd 18.12.1-2 is likely the TLS certificate thing:
* https://blog.prosody.im/2026-letsencrypt-changes/
... which will break server to server connections. Apparently this is something that all the TLS certificate providers will eventually have to do so it is not just Let's Encrypt.
