Do you actively seek out new music, from artists you don’t already know?
Polls below split by age, in multiple replies to the thread.
(Because I can only make 4-choice polls here)@mattgrayyes I would say I do actively seek out new music, but I am too young to know how to do that well. My friendgroup has a way different taste, album reviews are something that I stumble upon randomly on the internet and it usually misses my taste and the streaming service's algorithm is not good enough. How do you all find new artists?

I do actively seek out new music.
And I know I’m in the relative minority at 40, but I wondered by how much.

(Because I can only make 4-choice polls here)When I remember to, I post about music and gigs on https://metalmenu.co.uk or on its Instagram account.
(I’ve got 2 album mini reviews, an ep mini review and two gigs that I keep meaning to blog about. I have posted about them on instagram though.)@mattgrayyes Yes, but as a DJ it's kinda the point. ahaha

@gormster @mattgrayyes My thoughts exactly. For me it also comes in waves, sometimes I go weeks without looking for anything new and then it's all the new things at once
