    Good morning! Today's unseasonable warmth should encourage more spring developments. Yesterday a pair of chickadees started to set up housekeeping in the birdhouse on our front porch.

    Since all chickadees look alike to me, I'm going to assume they are the same pair that nested there last year. After all, that house was up for 5 years before any birds showed interest and now it's the second year in a row. It's got to be them, right? That's what I'm choosing to believe. 😊

      @Sharonbw

      Now you'll get to watch the chickadees and there will likely be babies soon.

      Enjoy the warm weather.

        @Sharonbw
        It's most likely them. Why not accept free shelter already known?

        It's going to be 90°F here. I'll be working but plan some garden trellis construction this evening.

            90F! 😮 It's probably better to work on it in the evening. It'll be cooler.

              @Sharonbw I love chickadees! They are such characters. I don't know, but why not the same pair? Sounds reasonable.

                @Sharonbw What a great gift you've given the chickadees and now they're giving you joy. It makes me smile. Are Lucy and Ringo able to watch the bird house, too?
