The good news: this hospital does at-home sleep studies! They just wire you up with portable equipment and send you home

The bad news: an hour on public transportation looking like I’m wired to blow

@0xabad1dea I did an at-home sleep study but it was just a thing on the finger connected to a thing on the wrist and a thing on the chest - I suspect yours will be a lot more accurate or detailed

@0xabad1dea I had the exact same experience. People kept trying to give me their seat, so it must have looked quite impressive. 🙂

@0xabad1dea I only had one (air) hose up my nose for the airbag they stuffed in my head. Your cyborg starter kit is WAY more impressive! (Hope they get the data they are needing quickly!)

by the way, the (genuinely very) nice ladies who taped me up assured me that there's no need to worry; the sensor taped to my throat that drew waveforms on their computer when I spoke wasn't recording my *voice*!, only *vibrations*
