well weigh-in day came and went. and that's another week with zero weight loss.

At this point I know better than to think I'm not making any progress, but its demoralizing to have made all that progress since December, 70 lbs, just to sit here for three weeks now, soon to be four weeks and have zero movement on the scale.

I can feel some changes in my muscle definition, and moving my abdominal muscles during my aerobics/cardio is easier, but is that really the reason? I don't believe I've gained an equal amount of muscle to the amount of fat I've lost. I was swinging around 2x2lb weights this week for about 20 minutes per day during my cardio routine. My cardio routine is usually 50 minutes to 1 hour per day, six days a week. Was it really that big a difference?

@nCrazed I can't deny I've noticed that there is more muscle definition. Its just really hard for me to accept that this is where I'm going to be for a while.

But its not like I have a choice in the matter. I'm not going back to the way things were, so if this is how its gotta be for a while, then I guess thats it.

@da_667 Muscles are far heavier than fat. Weight isn't the right metric to track here.

I've been avoiding weights because I didn't want to gain muscle mass, but then the nutrtionist said I have to incorporate it for better health, because losing weight through muscle loss is worse than not having lost any weight at all.

If this is how its gonna be, then so be it... I have no reason to avoid it anymore.

@da_667 you doing any weighted exercises? One way to take your mind off the "number go down" is replacing it with a "number go up"
