          @benroyce @twipped I had one once who would announce she was about to puke with a weird little string of rhythmic yowls that reminded me of some kind of prayer chant. It sounded almost pretty until I realized what it meant.

            sounds that lead right to the fear center of the brain

            for me it's discovering things days later in corners of the house mostly unvisited by humans. all of existence becomes dread 🤣

              @benroyce @twipped I've been having a little of that lately myself, as I hadn't realized when I adopted my current dog that he'd apparently been kept entirely outdoors and never fully house-trained. 🫤

                        @twipped The scene which greeted me was, I imagine, similar to the cleanup job they faced after shooting that scene in The Omen.
