New leak about #ChatControl 1.0 by the German @netzpolitik_feed:
Council knew they would make trilogue negotiations fail with their uncompromising approach - and they did so out of political calculation. They feared that reducing the scope in the interim derogation (1.0) would set a precedent for the permanent regulation (Chat Control 2.0).
The topic remains on the agenda for EP plenary for next week (26 March) and it seems the vote on the EP position could be repeated:
