There are only two options left for the USA.

1. Defeat and humiliation.

2. Escalation to a nuclear bomb.

I predict that in the event of (2), European leaders and many civilians will be making excuses for using such an evil weapon.

Third option for US: do what they always do - back out, pretending that defeat is a victory.

Thing is, Iran can't really hurt US homeland.

israel is the one iran can really hurt and who may become desperate enough to use nuclear weapons.
