Not that I support this in any way, shape, or form, but the conditions are ideal for China to invade Taiwan.
Recent events near Taiwan also point in that direction.
If any country is going to try and stop it, now is the time.

I was wondering about that, but I suspect they will not because a military invasion would likely destroy most of the fabs and, if not, would kill trust in Taiwan as a manufacturing centre. I expect China to try to apply a lot of soft pressure on Taiwan and for it to slowly move into the Chinese sphere of influence. Mainland China has a lot more to gain by that than an invasion.
With the USA alienating all of their allies, China is well placed to move the world more into a China-centric alignment. Invading Taiwan would prevent this.
